Amar joined VG Partners in 2002, bringing with him his strong operations management and technology background. He currently focuses on the fields of semiconductors, networking and communications. Prior to VG Partners, Amar held various roles at Jetstream Communications, Cypress Semiconductor, RBC Dominion Securities, Nortel Networks, ATI Technologies, and Newbridge Networks. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Waterloo, and is a graduate of the 29th Annual Venture Capital Institute sponsored by NVCA and NASBIC.
